In this exhibition Nancy continues her fascination with the ground under our feet, in particular exploring those places where water and stone come together – edges where water ebbs and flows, sand and silt move and build up, and where algae or mosses grow in crevices.  

The action of creating these images reflect these natural processes, with water finding ways past obstacles, materials are being deposited onto paper.  

Alongside this wall based exhibition, expect to see images of massive rock faces depicted on light and fragile rice paper. 

Nancy is an active member of the Unit 9 Collective based in Yorkshire.  Her work explores the nature of the environment, how we experience it and our place within it. She enjoys exploring processes, working with a wide range of materials, using collage, printmaking and drawing.
