A solo exhibition of printmaking by Annie Fforde in the Upstairs Gallery inspired by textiles, music and poetry.
Running: 22 August – 29 September
Annie Fforde is a Bradford-based printmaker with over 20 years experience combining traditional and experimental printmaking methods.
This exhibition is based on layers of memory through colour texture and printed fabric. There are drypoints based on the raw materials in the Rope Walk Museum, Barton-on-Humber, ‘NZ TWISTS’, woodcut prints ‘Crossing and Thin Red Line’ inspired by a visit to the Bradford Textile Archive and an ongoing exploration of incorporating cloth with etchings in the printing stage.
