Plaster Carving with Salma Patel

Join artist Salma Patel in sharing the secrets of her artistic practice. Salma will guide participants through making and sculpting plaster motifs. Inspired by her own practice, participants can choose a geometric pattern or draw their own. This relaxing craft is suitable for all abilities.

Salma’s practice explores themes relating to her cultural heritage – through a highly personal sculptural language the work visually translates her experiences: from growing up surrounded by Yorkshire architecture, to landscape and nature.
