Q&A and Exhibition Tour with Doug Binder

Join Doug Binder this coming Sunday for an informal talk and tour of his new exhibition ‘Signs of Life’  

South Square is embracing a new year, 2022 by launching off its 40th year celebrations with an exhibition of one it’s founders, Bradford born artist, Doug Binder.

The exhibition entitled ‘Signs of Life’ is a survey of over 20 years of work in his studio and in the life room at Dean Clough, Halifax, where Doug has been a Painter in Residence for many years. The exhibition of over 60 paintings and prints is mainly focussed on the human figure.

Doug Binder began his early artistic career at South Square Centre where he was curator and led the centre from its inception in 1982 and developed the gallery programme for the centre’s formative years. South Square is embracing a new year, 2022, and launching off its 40th year celebrations with a survey of over 20 years of his work.

The centre can be accessed easily via public transport from Bradford City Centre. There is on street parking available near to the centre.

Due to the unique nature of our heritage building the centre has limited accessibility for wheelchairs users at the moment. We are currently upgrading our building to rectify that.
