Event Details
Join us as we compile a hand-drawn bestiary of Thornton’s wildlife, insects and species. Bestiaries are a kind of book from the Medieval period and were used to share facts, anecdotes and features of the animals in them. We want to create our own and we want you to draw them. Pick anything from our selection of animals from a Brontë bat to Kevin the Peacock and get cracking with our selection of drawing tools.
Worried you’re not good enough at drawing? All drawing levels are welcome and our South Square trainee Toby will be here to help. If you do an appropriate illustration you can look forward to seeing it in the bestiary which will be Risographed after the workshop.
Suitable for all ages
As part of the Thornton Open Gardens Weekend.
