Over many years, as members of Air Valley Arts, Anne and Nancy have reflected on each others work. Both artists enjoy working with materials, often allowing processes to lead and to determine final outcomes.  

Anne creates strong colour combinations and dense textures, introducing shallow relief by interweaving strips of colour.  

In recent works Nancy has used papier maché, collage and acrylic, letting the processes of flow and ebb form the image.  

Seeing these works displayed together creates surprising synergies and contrasts.
