Macramé is a heritage craft which is believed to originate from 13th Century Arabic weavers who used the knots to secure loose ends of woven textiles like shawls and decorative clothes.
With a loving nod to Thornton’s very own weaving heritage, join us as we revive this craft with a modern twist.
Elle from Moorland Macramé will teach you the basic knots needed to design and create your very own plant pot hanger. There will be plenty of time to practice the knots before you make your hanger, with guidance all the way.
Workshop available for beginners. Materials provided with a collection of Summer colours to choose from.
You do not need to bring a plant pot with you unless you have particular one from home in mind
