This is a basement level studio which benefits from a large amount of light through two windows looking out onto a car park. Two large standing height desks flank the space which are great to use as a working space for an artist or small business. The space is newly renovated and benefits from a new hard-wired electric heater. There are a number of steps down from the courtyard and parking is only available on the street so may not suit someone with mobility needs. South Square Centre has 14 artist studio spaces which accommodate a range of artists and small creative businesses. The gallery programme provides opportunities for artists to become involved in wider community at the centre with bimonthly rolling exhibition programme along with development and social opportunities offered to our studio holders.
