Come and join us with an exciting creative workshop with Artist Anji Timlin!
We’ll be making drawings from natural objects using natural art materials, inks, paints and charcoal from Wallace Seymour. After some fun explorations and drawing exercises, we’ll be making a large scale work together. It will be quite an active drawing session with some standing and physical movement.
All materials will be provided.
The workshop will run from 10-3 with a break from 12-12.30. Bring lunch or grab some delicious food from Plenty at the Square
Adults over 16 only

Tickets are £65 and include all materials to be used.

Location and access:
The workshop is being held in the upstairs community room at South Square Centre, Thornton Road, BD13 3LS
The centre can be accessed easily via public transport. There is free on street parking around the centre. There is an on-site vegetarian café, Plenty, where refreshments and lunch can be purchased.
Cancellation and refunds:
Please note any cancellations made 3 days prior the event will not be refundable.
Any refunds processed will include a deduction of Eventbrite fees.

Following the fabulous success of a World Collage Day workshop, hosted by South Square in May 2021. Ian Tothill is continuing to lead the Collage Club group on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
This is a gentle self-led session where collage beginners and enthusiasts alike can meet and create art together. Rip, snip, tear and stick to your heart’s content!
Plenty of collage materials are provided but you can bring along your own too if you prefer.
You are welcome to give an optional voluntary donation of £3 cash on the day.

South Square is a collection of 19th Century workers cottages, in the old Yorkshire village of Thornton, famous for its Brontë connections and its impressive 20-arch viaduct.
Renovated as a community arts centre in 1982, South Square Centre is now home to ten studio spaces for a variety of artists, as well as a gallery, community spaces, archive, fine art framers, bar and a cafe.
The centre hosts community events and activities for all ages, including an ongoing workshop programme and provides community spaces available to hire.
