Unleash your family’s creativity and curiosity with our Curious Collage Scrapbook workshop!
This engaging and hands-on activity is perfect for families, bringing everyone together to explore, create, and document their curiosities and discoveries in a unique and meaningful way.
You’ll learn the art of collage-making and the benefits of journaling, creating beautiful scrapbooks that capture your family’s unique curiosities and memories.
With guidance from our expert facilitator Artist Ian Tothill, families will enjoy a fun-filled session of cutting, pasting, and exploring, leaving with a cherished keepsake scrapbook that continues to inspire creativity and mindfulness. Join us for an unforgettable creative adventure!

Join us to make cute Rudolph Reindeers!
The author’s toy, depicting a traditional Christmas character, is made using the ancient East Slavic technique of the ‘motanka’ doll.
Experience the fun and magic of turning a ball of yarn into a cheerful helper of Father Christmas at a workshop led by a Ukrainian craftswoman.
“Motanka” dolls – toys made out of yarn and fabric. The oldest folk toys, symbolising women’s wisdom and serving as family amulets, crafted from pieces of wool and fabric.

South Square is a collection of 19th Century workers cottages, in the old Yorkshire village of Thornton, famous for its Brontë connections and its impressive 20-arch viaduct.
Renovated as a community arts centre in 1982, South Square Centre is now home to ten studio spaces for a variety of artists, as well as a gallery, community spaces, archive, fine art framers, bar and a cafe.
The centre hosts community events and activities for all ages, including an ongoing workshop programme and provides community spaces available to hire.
