After the success of our first ‘Wellbeing Weekend’ in May 2019, we were keen to repeat the event in 2020. Due to the developing pandemic, we evolved our activities and presented a series of online demonstrations created by local guides with a focus on activities that relate to traditional craft and leisure of the past ie; baking, weaving, writing, gardening.
We encouraged opportunities for online audiences to feel more socially connected to their community and increase sense feelings of personal health and wellbeing. Our videos reached 4224 people online and prompted lots of local people to try something new to benefit their wellbeing.
A really big thank you to all of the contributors for their videos. You can view the whole playlist of Mindful May videos here on our Youtube.
