This is a unique opportunity to meet Doug Binder where you can talk about his work and participate in a life drawing class led by the man himself.   

You will be able to chat with Doug whilst he guides you through the skilled art form of drawing from a life model.  This informal class will take part in our community room where you will be able to can take inspiration from Doug’s new exhibition ‘Signs of Life’ in the gallery next door.

Bradford born Doug Binder began his early artistic career at South Square Centre where he was curator and led the centre from its inception in 1982 and developed the gallery programme for the centre’s formative years. South Square is embracing a new year, 2022, and launching off its 40th year celebrations with a survey of over 20 years of his work.

Drawing boards and charcoal can be provided.

The centre can be accessed easily via public transport from Bradford City Centre. There is on street parking available near to the centre.
Due to the unique nature of our heritage building the centre has limited accessibility for wheelchairs users at the moment. We are currently upgrading our building to rectify that.
